Cannot say enough good things about Jade and her eco-bnb. Off grid and off the road, if you want to REALLY experience the lava fields and that fierce Pele energy, come here
If you truly want to experience something different you need to spend at least a night here. The sunset, the breeze, the lava fields, being off the grid. Very unique!
Love this place! My family had a wonderful time here. We showed up to a clean and beautiful house and we will definitely return! I highly recommend you give this place a shot, because it is perfect! (we stayed at the ohana house)
This place is absolutely gorgeous! Every single detail is so well thought out, making this place a truly amazing, comfortable, and unique experience. I loved the breezy open air Magical Lava Temple, the rock bottom rain shower, and the stunning view of the lava fields. The stars are unbelievable from here! It's a beautiful retreat and nicely located. I'd highly recommend to locals and tourists alike.
Magical indeed, I won't include to many details because if you find yourself staying in the temple its exciting to see for yourself. The temple has lots of sleeping space, quite the full kitchen and isn't an issue when it comes to charging phones or connecting to the internet. It is closer to nature so that may come as a surprise. This was a great home base for big island adventures, especially if you focus on the south, east and northeast.
We stayed here for 2 nights. We did not cook but the closest restaurants were 20 minutes away . There was a grocery store 10 min away to stock up in milk and water and fruits. The standing Shower was amazing. We could see the sky and starts bright at night from our room with open windows and cool fresh air. The two dogs next to the rental are so cute and nice. My daughters enjoyed petting them. Very comfortable island styled home. Surprisingly it was not even cold on top of the lava rocks . Over all a great experience . The owner, Jade had all the books and recommendations for things to do around and a list of good restaurants ready for us on the table. She was so helpful and reciprocating to our messages even late at night . The neighbor/caretaker Dani came to greet us upon checkin and was super friendly. We love this place and would come back again.
